Snowmobile
Ideal vehicle to use on the snow-covered slopes and in the valleys. A wide variety of rides are available in order to visit the surrounding cabins. Activity suitable for all riders ; beginners to experts.
Dog-sled
More than 150 dogs are impatient to take you on enchanting and picturesque trails or on the frozen lake. An experienced guide will accompany every excursion (30 minutes, one-hour, half-day or full day). Also, warm blankets are provided. Do not forget to visit the nursery, filled with puppies awaiting to take over!
Ice fishing
The fish are there... even under the ice! Accompanied by a guide, you will be taken to the frozen lake for a half-day activity. The required equipment will be provided, to make sure you will be successful and that your catches may be tasted during the evening dinner.
Trapper's run
Half-day activity, guided by a trapper. While on snowshoes, you will discover the surrounding fauna, flora and trapping techniques. An introduction to ice fishing is also part of the activity, as well as tasting your trouts on an open wood fire. And why not have a drink of some Caribou?
The Seaplane
Takeoff and landing on frozen lakes; you will discover the magic of frosted forests in their winter coat.
Helicopter tour
Helicopter tours are possible upon availability. It will allow you to discover places that can only be accessed with this plane. Four passengers per flight.
Quinzee building
Activity for all ages. Learn how to built a snow shelter that could protect you from the cold weather.
Inner tube sliding / Super Raft
Slide down the hill, surrounded by the forest. You can do it individually, on your own tube, or with 5 other people, in the Super Raft. You can come back up by walking or aboard the GI JOE, a real army vehicle.
Sleigh ride
Wonderful ride in the snow-covered trails, comfortably seated in a horse-drawn sleigh.
Horseback Riding
Horse rides for one hour, two hours and even more if you wish. This could be a wonderful way to discover the magnificent wooded trails.
Cross-country skiing
What a wonderful way to discover the mountains of St-Alexis-des-Monts. 30 kilometers of trails (intermediate to difficult) are available, where you can admire the beauty of winter dressed in white. We provide you with cross-country shoes, skis and poles at no extra cost.
Cross-country skiing can be done solo, with a guide or with a native animation.
Snowshoeing
With the forest at your feet, magnificent snowshoeing trails await you. Rental fees for equipment are applicable and a guide can be available, with additional charge.
Ice skating
Have a good breath of fresh, crispy air and skate on a frozen pond, surrounded by the forest.
Picnic
You can order your picnic lunch 1 day in advance by making a reservation at the dining room.
Clothing rental
Clothing rental available : complete outfit or pieces of clothing only (coat, pants, boots, mittens) in order for you to take complete advantage of the winter activities and snow.
Excursion
A one-day guided tour of either Quebec City or Montreal.
